In Woodland Park, Colorado the World Famous Donut Mill is the place that you must experience. The huge doughnuts are delicious, and the helpful staff is as nice as can be. You can eat in, takeout or call in an order to be picked up later.
The Donut Mill has been a local & worldwide favorite since June of 1977. The Donut Mill enjoys satisfying the sweet cravings of our local residents in Woodland Park and meeting the thousands of summer, fall, winter, and spring travelers who have made the Donut Mill a required stop on their way to enjoying any outdoor adventure.
The Donut Mill offers a wonderful, down home atmosphere and is very family friendly. The menu is on a chalkboard above the glass case where fresh 10-12 inch cinnamon rolls, fritters, long johns and other tasty treats are on display.
At The Donut Mill we also have wonderful jelly filled doughnuts, cinnamon rolls, cinnamon twists, chocolate covered bismarck stuffed full of buttercream and topped with powdered sugar, cake doughnuts and many more to choose from. When in the mountains you definitely need to try one of the huge bear claws or our delicious raised doughnuts.
Prices range from $2.25 – $4.75 with one specialty item, a huge hubcap sized cinnamon roll for only $12.25. If you like breakfast burritos we have those and you can smother them in our sausage gravy or green chili. Let’s not forget our famous biscuits and gravy!
Blue Bell Ice Cream at the Donut Mill!
It all started on a hot summer day when local farmers decided to establish the Brenham Creamery Company and make butter from excess cream brought in by area farmers. A few years later, the creamery began making ice cream and delivering it to neighbors by horse and wagon. It was in 1930 that the company changed its name to Blue Bell Creameries after the native Texas bluebell wildflower.
